The Resident Evil series is not usually pretty grim, but a new rumour claims that Resident Evil 8 will top all of them. Now, Twitter user AestheticGamerwho has shared Resident Evil 8 info in the past and is considered to be a reputable source, has shared some new, albeit smaller, details.
I still believe it from what I was shown, but I do have a healthy skeptic in me. Even by the end of Resident Evil 7 though, the game had begun to return to its shlock roots and by the time of its DLC had embraced full-on Capcom silliness. These rumours though seem to suggest that the sequel will pull back from that and return to the tone of the first few hours of Resident Evil 7.

The director of RE2 Remake stated in an interview the importance of these for player immersion since the release of this demo, the interview has been removed by Capcom. It's startling how almost no one has commented on this, giving perfect reviews because they had fun.
Fps issues, character overhauls went a bit to far, dodge mechic is trash, zombies are still bullet sponges, Has the same lighting effect issues RE2 reboot had. Everything there is fixable, but doubt Crapcom cares.
This would be a good value at Either way I hope it gives the players what they want.
Be gone demons for I have arrived to cleanse the ground of thy unholy filth. Nemesis is a beast. Zombies are still a bit spongy might ruin RE3 action based themebut we will most likely be running the entire time. The dodge mechanic is a lil jank it works though. I'm a bit sad they changed the characters personalities so much, Jill specifically has this smart allec bad chick thing going it's cringy. Jill always was a straight laced, light hearted character with a kind nature.
Mikhail's voice actor is over the top cheesy. They make him look like an old fat man, Mikhail is one the most badazz characters in the franchise. It's disrespectful to the lore for him look like a ragged azz hobo. Where is limb dismember from re2re? What happens with doors? The demo was pretty awesome i love it but unfortunately there's a problem for the framerate reaching mostly fps not the same quality as RE2 remake reaching always 60fps.
I do not like resident evil series that much, but I really enjoyed the demo.
Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo
The atmosphere, simple puzzles and action was tense in good way I don't like fully horror games. Probably I'm not gonna buy the game because the demo experience was enjoyable and enough for me. Great environment the graphic are great but literally all it isis just getting grabed and bit in the neck whats the point in pressing A when prompted when your still going to get bit and unloading half a mag just to kill one zombie with a head shot btw and just for them to get back up and attack you when moving passed there corpse.
This game is fun yeah yeah But this over the shoulder shooter game style mechanic is talking all the Resident Evil out of the feel of not knowing whats in a room, not realy scary anymore.Keep comments on topic, maintain proper Reddiquetteand do not engage in incivility, racism, and other xenophobia. Resident Evil 3 Review
Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns. It seems it has been lowered, possible because of the strain it put on the engine in RE3 more open enviorments i guess, thats at least what was shown in the leaked gameplay, i think it was also a PS4 copy. I do hope it isnt true, the gore was amazing in RE2R, but i noticed the demo ran much much better for me, 60fps with the same settings i was getting only above 40fps in RE2R.
A lots been posted about the demo having this and the fact remains that any footage in the wild is still from older, incomplete builds they always call it the final code though so we just don't know if the release build will be anything like that. Could be, but these are physical copies being sold, perhaps a day one patch will be out or something. Never a bad idea to have some optimism, also perhpas mods will fix the gore if its not the same as RE2R, but this is also just a phisical copy, we could see a day one patch that will fix the issue, or maybe the strain it was putting on the engine nust wasnt worth it, i know i got constant 60fps with the same settings that were giving me little above 40fps in RE2R.

How many total kill-able zombies did we have in the demo? Around ? Well in the RE2 intro street segment, I counted 25 and a half zombies, some say that you're not supposed to interact with because you start with virtually no ammo. Well, here I used an infinite ammo hack and killed every single zombie in the area. No performance degradation, my game didn't crash, my pc didn't burn and my house didn't explode.
All while conserving glorious physics. Why punish the pc platform when it's capable? Last edited by Omarock ; 25 Mar pm. Showing 1 - 14 of 14 comments. At this point, outright admitting your true intentions is really more beneficial Capcom.
I guess they decided to remove physics due to that Resistance multiplayer mode. Since in that mode the game should handle 4 playable characters and 4 character models. So you're trying to prove your point in RE3 making a test in RE2? Maelmorda View Profile View Posts. I mean both games use the same engine and were developed side by side. So why not use RE2 to prove a point? Wow, the comparison between both titles really shows. Serious corners cut in RE3 just to release it a year early.

I do see the points in that downgrade argument. I guess we have to wait for the official release, there might be a day one patch for the physics and stuff at least I hope so. But this permanent whining over the character models due to personal taste does harm the conversation Some like them, some dont.
Using triggerwords will not change that imo. Dammit, I dismembered all the zombies at the opening of RE2.
Now my house exploded, nice bait :.Unfortunate downgrades and a reliance on action hack away at the survival horror heart of this frustrating remake. Particularly, I adored the detailed posters homaging movies from a bygone era and the figurines referencing past Capcom franchises that litter the subway stations and toy shop windows.
Hats off to the developers for making me take the time to lean in and study the paraphernalia among the chaos of a zombie apocalypse! Credit: Capcom. A remake with so much more technology in play should have at least developed these side characters rather than let them feel just as forgettable. As ironic as it sounds, the undead feel much less alive. Many may rebuke this point by noting that the original is more action-oriented, but it was still a Resident Evil game, and even as an out-and-proud scaredy-cat, this remake failed to stir me in the way that I imagine the developers had intended.
Nothing in the soundtrack jumped out to me, but the impressive and often unnerving sound design was appreciated, even if it felt hamstrung by the lacklustre encounters and pacing.
I did feel, though, that I had an abundance of ammo throughout, so it was rare to be on the back foot in combat, which is most of the fun in Resident Evil. That was until I first encountered Nemesis.
X, he feels thrown into situations carelessly, not even for the scare factor. Nemesis seems to exist to annoy players and force you into a stopgap. The game asks little more of players in its boss battles.
There was no real spectacle to keep my eye off the woefully conventional encounter design. These moments became about endurance rather than skill, and the monotony of completing the same task over and over again was enough to drive me to boredom.
The odd pacing and scattershot Nemesis encounters in Resident Evil 3 Remake ruin any chance of a curated atmosphere. At its best, I was shocked and grossed out by some of the new creatures in the sewers, for which I would applaud the developers for their outrageous approach to enemy design. Something of a theme here…. S ome of the most engaging parts of the game occur when you return to the setting of Resident Evil 2 and face a tense trip through the Raccoon City Police Department, encountering Lickers and dealing with the dead.
The benefit of this game being a prequel means that you get to see how the characters in Resident Evil 3 Remake affect the environment and story of Resident Evil 2 Remake — if you can recall the locker codes from previous games, you can even use them here, which is a nice touch. Unfortunately, I was left thinking that this only serves to make the other game look better. This is the only fresh approach in which Resident Evil 3 Remake asks you to adapt in an interesting way to its more action-oriented style.
There are new additions like the Mine Rounds, which boast an interesting tactical element to the grenade launcher, and the in-game shop that unlocks after you beat the game, letting you buy new weapons and outfits.
Yet, as you may be starting to understand, complimenting Resident Evil 3 feels like pulling positive needles out of a parasite-infested haystack. The game that defined the survival-horror genre is back! Check out the remastered HD version of Resident Evil. In a special forces team is sent to investigate some bizarre murders on the outskirts of Raccoon City. Upon arriving they are attacked by a pack of blood-thirsty dogs and are forced to take cover in a nearby mansion.
But the scent of death hangs heavy in the air. Supplies are scarce as they struggle to stay alive. Controls have been updated with an option to use modernized settings to remove the "Tank" controls which the series is infamous for, and new "BSAA" costumes for Jill and Chris for those who want to play with a level of familiarity with the more recent Resident Evil titles.
Unlike RE4 and most of its successors. RE 1 HD truly delivers one of the most challenging and unsettling enviroments. The harder difficulties amp up the stakes forcing you to evade and plan your next moves quickly and descisively just to make it to the next room. As small as the area is the attention to detial is what made it tower over most others. Good job Capcom. The remake on GC was great. You would think how can they make it again and it be very much if any better.
Made such a improvement in the graphics and more modern style while keeping that classic feel. Survival Horror at its finest. Shinji Mikami like Hideo Kojima Made this game with the idea to create something new. He unknowingly would be the one to start the Survival horror genre. You play As Jill or Chris in a setting Straight out of a horror movie with danger at every turn limited ammunition and supplies and puzzles that can leave you wandering.
But the true magic of the game is the combat and controls where as in other more famous Resident evils such as Re4 or Re5 this one made you feel helpless in the since that even if you do have things planned as to how your going to deal with your opposition it my never go you way.All Death Scenes - RE3 Remake - Check out all the deaths on Jill and Carlos - 1080 HD
I give this Game a perfect rating because if you are a survival horror fanatic like me its the first one you couldn't play because it scared you too much but if your not and your looking into the genre this is it.
I've never been so scared in my life to play a resident evil game ever! The game can be really confusing and hard at times but its still a really fun game.
I recommend buying the game when you get the chance. This is my favorite Resident Evil game for the exact reason that the setting is in a mansion If you like horor, and puzzles then this i sfor you it will keep you on your feet to the end. The atmosphere is Creepy and amazing and the story is ok but there are some interesting characters, even though most of the characters are generic they're still likable.Sign in to add this item to your wishlist, follow it, or mark it as not interested.
